What is IEP Says?
IEP Says is a tool that analyzes your child's IEP (Individualized Education Program) and gives you a plain-language breakdown of every section, goal, and service — including quality scores, concerns, and specific questions to ask at your next meeting.
How do I upload my child's IEP?
Create a free account, then upload a PDF or photo of your child's IEP from your dashboard. The analysis runs automatically and takes about 2–5 minutes.
Is my child's IEP data safe?
Yes. All uploads are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Your data is stored in an isolated database with row-level security. We never train AI models on your data, and you can delete your data at any time from your account settings.
What does the free version include?
Free accounts get the full Learning domain analysis — including goals, services, and accommodations related to academics. The remaining four domains (Communicate, Feel, Sense, Manage) and advocacy letter templates are available with a one-time analysis pass.
How much does the full analysis cost?
A one-time analysis pass unlocks all five domains, quality scores, advocacy letters, and the full compliance checklist. The price is shown at checkout. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. We offer a 14-day refund policy. If you're not satisfied, email support@humms.io within 14 days of purchase and we'll issue a full refund. See our refund policy for details.
Can I re-analyze an IEP if it gets updated?
Yes. Upload the new version and purchase a reanalysis pass. The reanalysis is priced lower than the initial analysis since your account already exists.
Does IEP Says provide legal advice?
No. IEP Says provides educational information and analysis to help you understand your child's IEP. For legal questions about your child's rights, consult a qualified special education attorney or advocate.
What states do you support?
Our analysis engine includes state-specific guidance for 34 states. You can see which states are covered on our state guides page. Federal IDEA protections apply to all states.
