1. Not Legal Advice

IEP Says provides educational information only. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client or advocate-client relationship. The information provided is intended to help you better understand your child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and related educational documents.

2. AI-Generated Content Accuracy

AI-generated translations, summaries, and analysis may contain errors or omissions. These outputs are provided for informational purposes only. Always verify AI-generated information against your original IEP document and consult with your child's IEP team for clarification on any discrepancies.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Use of IEP Says does not guarantee any specific educational outcome, school district compliance, or favorable dispute resolution. Educational outcomes depend on many factors beyond the scope of this service.

4. Professional Referral

For complex legal disputes, due process hearings, state complaints, or situations requiring legal representation, IEP Says strongly recommends consulting a qualified special education attorney or certified educational advocate. Our Resources section can help you find professionals in your state.

5. User Responsibility

You are responsible for verifying all information provided by IEP Says and making your own informed decisions regarding your child's education. You acknowledge that you are the primary decision-maker for your child's educational path.

6. Account & Data

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data including uploaded documents, analysis results, and child profiles will be permanently removed.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use IEP Says only for its intended purpose of understanding and navigating your own child's educational documents. You may not use this service to process documents for which you do not have legal authorization, or for any commercial purpose without written consent.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of IEP Says after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
